Jump Desktop

Jump Desktop provides a secure and reliable means of remotely connecting to your desktop computer, either from another desktop computer or from a mobile device. If you’re stuck at home with no way to get to the office, you can get some work done by remotely connecting to your work PC from your home PC. And if you’re stuck on the road, you can get some work done by remotely connecting to your work PC from your smartphone or tablet.

Jump Desktop is available as a desktop application for PC and Mac, and as a mobile app for iOS and Android. Alongside the cross-platform Jump Desktop application, there’s a second application called Jump Desktop Connect. The two work in tandem, like this: Jump Desktop Connect must be installed on the computer you want to remotely access; Jump Desktop must be installed all your other devices.

Let’s take the example presented above, where you want to remotely connect to your work PC. You’ll have to install Jump Desktop Connect on your work PC (and sign into your Jump Desktop account). Then you’ll have to install Jump Desktop on the PC, Mac, or mobile device you want to use to remotely connect to your work PC (and once again, sign into your Jump Desktop account).

Jump Desktop Connect and Jump Desktop for Windows are free. Jump Desktop for Mac, iOS and Android aren't free. At the time of writing this, Jump Desktop for Android is priced at $9.99 on Google Play, Jump Desktop for iOS is priced at $14.99 on Apple’s App Store, and Jump Desktop for Mac is priced at $29.99 on the Mac App Store and on the Jump Web Store.
